Abstract:WiththecontinuousincreaseinthebirthrateandfemaleemploymentinFrance,
wehaveseenincreasingrequirementsforchildren’sday-careservices.TheFrenchgovernment
placesgreatimportanceonday-careserviceandentruststhisservicetotheafter-schoolcenters,
whichcreateaneweducationalspaceoutofschoolsandpromotechildren’smoralstandards,co-
operativespiritsandgroupworkabilitiesetc.Consideringthis,theChineseeducationalsystem
candrawfromtheexperienceofitsFrenchcounterparttoworkoutconcreteandfeasiblestrate-
giestoputasimilarday-careserviceinplace,withChinesegovernmentsupportandsupervision.
Thisday-caresystemisbelievedtobeabletopromotechildren’sall-roundeducationbeyondthe
scopeoftraditionalschoolorfamilyeducation,asanewly-emergenteducationaldimensionfor
children’sgood.
