Abstract:Thecultivationofmasterteacherscanpromotesthekeyteachers暞growthinasys灢
tematicway.ThesurveyonthemasterteachercandidatesinSichuanProvincesshowsthatthey
arenowonthetwopoplarsoftheirdevelopment:breakthroughperiodandplateauperiod.On
theonehand,theyneedandexpecttobreakthrough,andontheotherhand,theyarefacingbot灢
tleneckproblems.Theprofessionaldevelopmentdependsonbothinnerendeavorandoutside
support.Astothosecandidates,theyhaveproperprofessionalidentities,passionfortheirca灢
reer,abilitytoworkunderhighpressure,self灢otivationtolearnandstrongwillofself灢impro灢
ving.Astotheoutsidesupport,theirprofessionaldevelopmentdependsonthesupportoftheir
schoolsaswellasteachingandresearchgroup.Inaddition,teachertrainingbenefitthem most.
Moreover,becauseoftheheavyburdenofteaching,greatresponsibilitiesandhighpressure,the
incentivesystem,evaluationmechanismandprofessionalsupportarethekeyfactorstothedevel灢
opmentofthosemasterteachercandidates.
