On the Philosophy of the Su’s Shu Learning

Abstract:The Su’s Shu learning reaches a high level in philosophy. It includes three aspects: cos⁃
mology based on ontology of Taoism, the thoughts on human nature of being neither good nor evil, as well
as dialectical thoughts of Yin and Yang’s relying on each other. All those thoughts with their distinctive
characteristics, not only had an important influence on Shu learning of the Song dynasty, but also played
an important role in the building of the Shu learning. Furthermore, they are philosophical foundation of
the Su’s Shu learning.
