The Reality Inspection and Concepts Breakthrough
of Teachers’ Training in Ethnic Minority Regions

Abstract:Teachers are the key to the success of curriculum reform, teachers’ training becomes the
important way of their career development. If the training content cannot be accepted and internalized by
teachers and is difficult to guide changes in their behavior, teachers’ training will be in vain. In ethnic
minority regions, there are many factors hindering the development of education, such as undeveloped e⁃
conomy, complex terrain, diversity of the objects and special needs. At the same time, those factors pro⁃
vide new demands to the training, i.e., focusing not only on the unified but also on special needs, paying
attention not only to the frontier knowledge but also to the indigenous knowledge. Therefore, the key to
solve the practical problems in teachers’ training in ethnic minority regions should be based on teachers
integral development while carrying through multi⁃cultural education with cooperative training idea and
establishing experts guiding system.
