Abstract:Theendogenouspathhaspositiveandimportantsignificanceforpromotingthe
transformationandupgradingofeducationdevelopmentinethnicareas.However,duetoour
misunderstandingoftheendogenouspathmeaningofeducationdevelopmentinethnicareas,the
designofnationaleducationpolicyismorethanactualneedsofnationaleducation.Theconnota-
tionofendogenouspathofeducationdevelopmentinethnicareasincludesthreeaspects:develop-
mentpurpose,practicesubjectandfoundation,andcoremeasures.Infact,itisthethreebasic
questionsofwhy,how,andhowtodealwiththeendogenouspath.Atpresent,theadvancement
oftheendogenouspathofeducationdevelopmentinethnicareasisconstrainedbyproblemssuch
asweakeconomicfoundation,inadequateeducationalfunctions,laggingideologicalconcepts,and
lackofinstitutionalsupply.Weshouldbaseonthecomplexneedsofculturalneeds,economic
foundations,politicalenvironment,andinstitutionalcarriersinethnicareas,andcarryoutmulti-
dimensionalthinkingontheendogenouspathofeducationdevelopmentinethnicareas.
