以己意说经,不受旧注疏的约束,这体现了宋明理学各派经学观的共性。在此基础上,程朱重视“由经穷理”、我注“四书”,陆王强调以经书为吾心的注脚,但就形式与解经的目的即理学家的思想实质而言,理学各派均是把经学形式与性理学内涵相结合,说经的目的在于阐发自己的性理、心性之学,而不是为解经而解经。

It embodies the commonness of various schools of classicalism of the Song and the Ming Dynasties to voice ones own view of classics without being restricted by the previous interpretations, based on which Cheng and Zhu attach importance to “seeking the principles through classics” and ones own interpretation of “si shu”, while Lu and Wang emphasize ones own interpretation according to classics, but in terms of the ideological essence of the neoConfucians, namely the form and classicsinterpretation aim, various schools of classicalism combine the form of classics and the intension of disposition neoConfucianism, and for them the classicsinterpretation aim lies in giving expression to ones own disposition neoConfucianism other than an explanation and interpretation itself.
