    D.H.Lawrence is noted for highlighting the human body. Differentiation of physical features between the orderly and his officer in his early short story “The Prussian Officer” ensures the possibility of an unconscious dialogue to initiate a new life relationship which transgresses the established ones. Homoeroticism pracitised in violence embodies Lawrence’s ambition of building a world of man power. The awakening senses of body generate the unconscious which is the essense of living. That is the medium Lawrence applies to challenge the degenerating modern civilization.
